Course Description

Advanced implant training for dental nurses

This CPD course meets the criteria for the GDC’s development outcomes: B and C.

  • Live Surgery: Full-Mouth Rehabilitation – Experience the entire treatment process from start to finish. Depending on the case, you may observe bone augmentation, extractions with immediate implant placement, internal and external sinus lifts, and full-mouth rehabilitation workflows. When possible, participants will also observe the restorative phase of full-mouth rehabilitation.
    • Setup and Workflow – Learn the complete setup and component management for full-mouth rehabilitation.
    • Interactive Q&A – Ask questions and discuss concepts as the surgery progresses.
    • Theoretical Session – Comprehensive overview of advanced and complex treatments, including external sinus lift, guided bone
regeneration (GBR), and full-mouth rehabilitation principles.

Aims & Objectives

  • Observe a live full-mouth rehabilitation treatment.
  • Understand the workflow and setup for advanced and complex implant procedures.
  • Learn the differences between straightforward, advanced, and complex implant treatments.
  • Attend a lecture on External Sinus Lift, Extractions (Xla), and Immediate Implant Placement — including requirements,
    indications, contraindications, and pre-/post-operative instructions.
  • Explore Digital Dentistry and the evolving role of the dental nurse.
  • Review instruments, materials, and setup in detail.
  • Learn how to communicate effectively with your implant provider and laboratory technicians.
  • Understand the TCO and Dental Nurse roles: patient communication, consent, instructions, and managing complications.

  • A two-day Masterclass with a mixture of didactic teaching as well as hands on practical’s on pig jaws.
  • Like-minded people learning massively from an internationally renowned speaker
  • SAC Classification – Complex
Course Description

The Daniele Cardaropoli world-class masterclass at the Campbell Academy is designed to provide detailed information and instruction on the use of soft tissue augmentation in implant dentistry (and other disciplines).

Daniele will explore the techniques and indications for the use of such grafts in implant surgery using both autograft material from a patient with connective tissue grafting and free epithelial grafting and also synthetic product grafting using Geistlich’s products, Fibro-Gide and Mucograft. Soft tissue grafting has become one of the most important developing areas of work for the implant dentist in practice, and understanding when to use it and how to use it will be one of the greatest skills moving forward to set clinicians apart from the clinicians who do not understand this essential area of work.

We will use lecture-based material, clinical cases, full explanations, and practical exercises based around a pig head model with extraordinary soft tissue instrumentation. Exploring these areas will allow delegates to leave the course with the confidence to diagnose, plan and implement soft tissue grafting to provide considerable benefits to the patient group and massive value to the treatment they provide.

This course is unlike any other we have seen regarding soft tissue management. It gives full and uninterrupted access to a world-class clinician in a small-group teaching environment. If you are interested in improving the soft tissue outcomes in your implant surgery cases, there may be no better course you could consider.

Course Aims & Objectives:

  • A clear understanding of the importance of soft tissue management and the outcomes of implant dentistry.
  • Understand that soft tissue management is essential for the short- and long-term success of implant restorations.
  • Understand that soft tissue management is crucial for achieving aesthetic results.
  • Be able to assess patients for their requirements for soft tissue management.
  • Clearly understand, both technically and practically, the application of free gingival grafts from the patient’s own (autogenous) roots and connective tissue grafts from the patient’s own (or close) roots.
  • Clearly understand the technical and practical application of free gingival grafts (allograft alternative, Mucograft) and connective tissue grafts (allograft alternative, Fibro Gide).
  • Delegates will understand the advantages and disadvantages of using the patient’s own and synthetic material in different outcomes and how to gain the best results.
  • Moving forward with soft tissue management and then below that, soft tissue management has become one of the biggest talking points in implant dentistry in recent years.
  • This world-class master class will equip any clinician at any level with a clear understanding of how to move forward with soft tissue management.

GDC CPD outcome:

  • A (Effective communication with patients, the dental team and others across dentistry, including when obtaining consent, dealing with complaints, and raising concerns when patients are at risk.)
  • B (Effective management of self and effective management of others or effective work with others in the dental team, in the interests of patients providing constructive leadership where appropriate.)
  • C (Maintenance and development of your knowledge and skills within your field(s) of practice)
  • D (Maintenance of skills, behaviours and attitudes which maintain patient confidence in your and the dental professions and put patients’ interests first.)

Course Description

The Immediate Full Arch Loading Live Skills Course is a national live skills event delivered simultaneously across three UK locations and designed to equip experienced implant clinicians with the knowledge, clinical judgement, and practical understanding required to safely and predictably introduce immediate full arch reconstruction into their practice.

Immediate Full Arch Loading is now one of the most sought-after treatments in the UK and Ireland. However, it is also one of the most misunderstood. In some settings, it has been presented as a simplified, one-size-fits-all solution. This approach has inevitably led to avoidable complications and poor outcomes.

Make no mistake: full arch implant reconstruction is complex. But when planned carefully, executed methodically, and delivered on the right patients, it can be an extremely rewarding treatment modality for both clinician and patient.

The Full Arch Implant Live Skills course follows the same structured, supported approach as our other Live Skills programmes. It is designed for experienced implant surgeons ready to advance to Immediate Full Arch Loading (IFAL), with a strong emphasis on clinical decision-making rather than protocol-driven shortcuts.

From case selection and treatment planning, through surgery, provisional restoration, and final reconstruction, the course focuses on how IFAL can be delivered carefully, ethically, and predictably — and just as importantly, when it should not be used.

The course is delivered simultaneously in Nottingham, Belfast, and Dundee, allowing delegates across the UK and Ireland to access the same programme, the same standards, and the same teaching without unnecessary travel. Regardless of location, the curriculum, learning outcomes, and clinical focus remain identical.

Over the three-day programme, delegates take part in a structured mix of theoretical teaching, case discussion, and practical learning.

On the final day, a live surgical demonstration is carried out at The Campbell Clinic in Nottingham and streamed in real time to the teaching centres in Belfast and Dundee using our established audiovisual setup. This allows all delegates, regardless of location, to observe the same live IFAL case simultaneously.

Throughout the procedure, faculty provide live commentary and discussion, with opportunities for delegates at each site to ask questions, explore clinical decision-making, and engage with the case as it progresses. This approach ensures consistency of teaching, shared discussion across locations, and a high-quality live learning experience without compromise.

Each day includes interactive discussion and Q&A with experienced faculty members.

  • Day One – Full-arch planning workflow and surgical practical.
  • Day Two – Prosthetic and technical considerations for IFAL.
  • Day Three – Live Surgery – Live IFAL case with interactive commentary.
