At The Campbell Academy, we believe that dental implant surgeons should place a minimum of 50 implants per year. Our Year Implant Course is the first step in that journey, introducing people to the straightforward aspects of implant dentistry, and to achieve this over the coming years.
The Year One Implant Course is the first stage of our Curriculum in Implant Dentistry, developed in partnership with the International Team for Implantology (ITI). It gives general dentists a thorough grounding in straightforward implant dentistry — the science, the planning, the surgery and the restoration — built around as much hands-on practice as possible.
We believe practical experience is essential: implant dentistry is a craft of science and art that has to be practised. The course includes work on models and pig heads, three clinical days treating your own patients under supervision, digital mentoring throughout, and a roadmap toward the ITI Diploma.
Suitable for Dentists who are new to, or have limited experience with, straightforward implant dentistry and want education delivered through a blend of theory and hands-on teaching.
Twelve onsite days delivered over roughly ten months, combining lecture-based teaching, practical sessions and three clinical days.
