Course Description

This a 1-day face to face workshop which introduces clinicians to Guided Surgery and specifically the Straumann Guided Surgery system by way of clinician-led lectures and hands-on exercises using models, demo implants and guides.

This course introduces delegates to the coDiagnostiX software and provides a presentation on the functionalities to demonstrate all the necessary steps in order to carry implant planning and guide creation for single and multiple unit cases.
Introduces delegates to the Straumann Guided System by way of hands-on demonstrations on demo models created for the cases already planned on coDiagnostiX from earlier.

Learning Content:

Presentations covering fundamentals of Guided Surgery.
Hands on practicals on models using Straumann modular kits/drills
Clinical case discussions

Objectives:

To be able to competently use Co-Diagnostix for single unit cases to aid planning and surgery in everyday implant dentistry.
To be able to use Co-Diagnostix as a communication tool for patients
Understand the Straumann Guided Surgery and TLX/BLX system, as well as the features of the implant design and indications for its use.
