Brooke Stanley-Jackson
Implant Nurse
Brooke began her dental nursing career in 2012 and gained her NEBDN diploma in dental nursing in 2014. Following this, she went straight on to complete her BDA certificate in dental radiography enabling her to take X-rays of patients. Brooke spent many years working in general private practice before wanting to learn something more.
She joined the team here at The Campbell Clinic in 2020. Shortly after joining, Brooke identified her keen interest in dental implant nursing and nursing for complex surgical cases and she gained a NEBDN certificate in dental implant nursing. Her main reason for this interest is to see the transformation and how truly life-changing these treatments can be for patients. Her all-time favourite treatment to be involved in is IFAL. This is a long and complex day for all, but nothing beats seeing the reaction on patients’ faces when they look at their new smiles. Some patients have searched for years to find somewhere that can provide them with a smile they feel confident with, so seeing that transformation is gratifying.
Because of her keen interest in this area, Brooke went on to complete my NEBDN certificate in dental implant nursing. She has been a dental nurse for over 10 years now and has found implant dentistry by far the most enjoyable aspect of dentistry. She is able to be very involved in patients’ appointments, taking CBCTs, and giving pre and post-operative advice, and she finds it great to be so hands-on.
Outside of work, Brooke enjoys walking her cocker spaniel Ozzy, with her husband, traveling to new places and she is also a massive foodie.
