Colin qualified from Glasgow University in 1990 and received his MFDS RCS from The Royal College of Surgeons England in 2005. In 2011 he completed a Masters’ Degree with Merit in Implant Dentistry from the University of Warwick.
Colin is a Visiting Professor at the School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Central Lancashire. He is a registered ITI Mentor, ITI Speaker and is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology. He is the Past-Chairman of the UK and Ireland Section of the ITI.
He is a member of several teaching faculties including the Campbell Academy, The University of Central Lancashire, NES Scotland, and the ITI.
His particular area of interest is implant surface technology, bone biology and bone regeneration which formed the title of his Dissertation in his Masters’ Programme.
Colin is primarily based at the Scottish Centre for Excellence in Dentistry in Glasgow, a large multidisciplinary centre that accepts referrals from over 900 Dentists, and at Atelier Dentistry in Glasgow City Centre. He places and restores implants and carries out hard and soft tissue augmentation procedures.
