Dr Raj Patel

Since qualifying from the University of Liverpool in 2002, Raj has since held a strong interest in surgical dentistry and oral implantology and has 10 years of hospital experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Committed to achieving professional excellence, Raj has completed post graduate education in the UK and Ireland and advanced training at the University of Bern in Switzerland, in addition to a Masters in Medical Law and Ethics. He is interested in learning from global experiences of surgical and implant dentistry, so makes numerous visits to dental institutions around the world, including Germany, Switzerland and the United States of America.

Outside of placing implants and his studies, Raj is also involved in mentoring new dentists in placing dental implants and teaching dentists about implant and surgical based dentistry. He is an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Bristol and is an ITI Fellow, Chair for the ITI UK and Ireland section. (International Team for Implantology). He also runs the ITI study club in Croydon which helps promote post graduate education for local and national dentists.
